Program: Build the bridge between Academy and Industry

 

 

Sponsorship is active career support by a leader (a SPONSOR) within an organization that has the power and significant influence on decision-making processes.

Connect students from the Bordeaux Neurocampus Graduate Program with the Sponsors (Leaders) from the Industry will come with a number of advantages such as:

Selection criteria for the students

  • 20 pax: gender equality, MSc and PhD
  • Interest to move to the industry
  • Which kind of area/position do you imagine yourself? (ex: editorial, startup/scientific writing, etc)
  • France or international?
  • Strenght acessement (30 €pax)
  • Application: CV + pitch 3 min
  • Fluency in English
  • Expectations from the program

 

After the selection:

Profiling the selected candidates

  1. Strenght assessment of the candidates
  2. Workshop
    1. Update of CVs and LinkedIn profile plus individual revision of CVs
    2. preparation for interview + elevator pitch
    3. communication skills

 

Kick-off event: Students meets Industry

  1. Selected industries will present themselves to the audience, present areas of expertise and job opportunities
  2. Speed dating mentee vs mentors

 

Timeline

  • February: Collecting CV And applications deadline: 
  • March: Profiling of the candidates and workshops
  • April: Reaching companies with the profiles
  • May: kick of meeting: Industry vs academia event + matching candidates with the sponsors
  • June: Industry will invite for interviews + mock interview before real interview Intensive interview preparation with body language analysis, video recordings and styling
